KinetiCAD started from a simple observation in a machine shop: between the drawing landing in the inbox and the first chip being cut sits a day of skilled, repetitive work - reading the part, choosing machines and setups, estimating time and cost, writing the program. None of it is automated, and all of it is repeated on every revision.
Our founding team brings together computer vision, distributed systems, and product & market expertise, with roots in robotics research, production AI and industrial SaaS. The venture is anchored at TU Darmstadt and is currently funded by the Hessen Ideen scholarship.

We design every feature around the person preparing the job, not the executive in the boardroom. The interface should be invisible; the released program is what matters.
NC programs have to be correct. We only output what we can ground in the model and the drawing - no guesses. Where the analysis is uncertain, the platform says so and asks.
